Common questions

Is this different from Self Checkout?
Yes. Order From Table sends the order to the kitchen but does not collect payment - the waiter or cashier handles payment at the end. Self Checkout collects payment upfront.
Do I need the Restaurant module for this?
The Restaurant module is recommended for full table tracking, but Order From Table can work standalone for basic table ordering.
Can customers see item availability in real time?
Yes. If an item is marked out of stock in your menu, it shows as unavailable on the customer-facing order screen instantly.
